Los Angeles – Colombian singer Shakira continues to do charity to help Haiti recover after the earthquake and tsunami. Shakira donates U.S. $ 400 thousand.
Citing femalefirst, Saturday (2 / 4), Waka–waka singer of this song help rebuild schools damaged by the massive earthquake and tsumani in 2010. She shared with the Barefoot Foundation, Architecture for Humanity Charity to help renovate schools ElieDubois in the capital Port–au-Prince.
Shakira visited Haiti on March 28, 2011. She agreed with the Inter–American Development Bank to channel funds to build educational facilities.
“I believe the key to achieve a dignified future for the Haitian people is through education. I want to say to young women that this is a tremendous opportunity to continue to undergo education,“ she explained.
When visiting the school, Shakira made time to dance. She also sang songs hits.
